ROME: 31MM CAMERA PICTURES
Hello everyone! Its 2 days after my exam and I feel like I have absolutely nothing to do. I am trying to just chill and enjoy my time before starting new modules on Monday, but I feel so guilty doing nothing.

A Tapa Tapa Evening in Barcelona
The other day I finally got my Rome photos from my Dads old 31mm camera printed so I wanted to share them all. I thought they would of come out a bit better but I am still learning how to use it. The style of these pictures are cute and old fashioned so I want to use the camera more.
I am seriously missing being in another country exploring, and I am missing my Solly since being back at University. I think it is time to book up some more trips.
A LITTLE CHRISTMAS TRIP TO ROME
when in rome…
A Tapa Tapa Evening in Barcelona
Here comes my non – stop pics of Solly and I’s trip to Rome. As I have said I took 3 different cameras – my phone, Olympus Pen Canon camera and a Canon film camera (which I haven’t been able to get processed yet) so I have a lot of content to share with you.
Sol and I only spent 3 nights in Rome, with only around 2 full days to fit in all the sites. When I say all the sites… there is soooo much to see! On the first day we did a hop on hop off bus all around Rome, just to get our bearings. The first stop was the colosseum which is was Sollys main site to see. We decided to get skip the queue and a tour, just because this is one of the main sites in Rome and yes it was so worth it! If you haven’t been, the colosseum is incredible and so much bigger than I imagined.
These are not just photographs from day one, but a collection of some of my favourites. We stuffed our face with pasta, pizza and a little trick for anybody going to a busy city, walk down the back streets… you will find a lot of cheap food and cute little restaurants. Solly and I used an app called ‘YELP’ to help us find the best places to eat and drink.
This was such an amazing experience for Sol and I but I can honestly say it has given me a travel bug, I WANT TO BE ABROAD 24/7 to the point my friend Kimia and I are organising a cheap trip to Berlin at the end of January, to celebrate the end of a stressful month. Where would you like to visit in the EU?
Today, Sol and I arrived home from 3 nights in Rome. I decided to take Sols to Rome for his 21st birthday and Christmas present, in between Christmas and New Years as it is an age to celebrate and when you are nearly 5 years in there are not any more jumpers or perfumes I could buy him. Rome is a very exciting city – I couldn’t even begin to describe how busy we have been. From the Colosseum to the Vatican to the Trevi Fountain, there is not enough time in the day to see everything. BUT… we did it. In just 2 full days we saw everything we wanted too.

Mini Golf & Pizza | Puerto De La Cruz
This is just the beginning of the amount of photos I have taken. I took my phone, my Canon camera and my dads old Canon film camera. I love the way film cameras come out and I am so excited to get them developed. Italy is a very beautiful country and hopefully I have captured it the best way I could.
So, after 4 days of pasta and pizza it is now New Years Eve. How quickly is time going? January is going to be a stressful month for me. From January the 1st it is time to give myself a kick up the bum. University comes first! I have waddled along for too long and I will be beating myself up if I don’t get my act together. That is not just with University, but also with money and my fitness. My only New Years resolution is to PRIORITISE – and this is with absolutely everything!

THE SUMMER OF 2018
It has been a long time coming, but I have finally finished my Summer video!! I couldn’t complete this one until the end of September because I still had Boundary Brighton to attend but I am so excited to share this one!! I have not made a video in ages due to just not being passionate about it, I felt like the videos I have made since my ‘Highlights of 2017’ video have not been the best, but I love this one.

I hope you enjoy!
In Malaga instead of staying in a hotel, we booked out a huge villa for 20 people on Home and Away and it had it all. We couldn’t of asked for more. It had a hot tub, bed outside, our own pool with a slide, a balcony with a BBQ, a bar and so much more. The only thing we didn’t have was any clubs or shops near by. Technically we weren’t in Malaga, we were right on the out skirts and to get into the centre cost 30 euros – that is where all our money went!!
Getting a villa was the best idea because we could do whatever we wanted, we could wake up, make breakfast and just chill. Because we were in the middle of nowhere we had no noise complaints which was perfect.
If you ever need to book a holiday, go through Home and Away. It is a great service!!
I am officially back at University in Bournemouth and trying to enjoy freshers. I am so ready just to start lectures now, waking up in the morning with nothing to do gets extremely boring!!
Camping in the New Forest, Dorset
I would massively recommend a weekend away at the New Forest. It is very relaxing and a lot of fun. The place is filled with horses, on the first morning a shetland pony came charging at us for our food! Although there is not that much to do around us bar cycling and long walks it is a very pretty area. I would go back again!

Solly and I were not able to go on a holiday this year due to him being super busy with work and us both having so many other things planned, so we thought we should spend a weekend in a tent instead. We have now both spent 2 weekends in a row in a tent, the first weekend being in a smelly, muddy field with lots of other people to the second weekend doing it properly. We borrowed my mums Glastonbury Festival tent that has one pod with a huge middle bit to keep all of our stuff in. We bought a gas cooker to make ourselves cups of tea and breakfast every morning, I stocked us up on food and beer and made our sleeping area extremely snug.
Weekend In Bournemouth
Weekend in Watford
On Friday evening Sol did not finish work until 6:30PM so we did not get to the campsite until it was pitch black. Putting the tent up in the dark was a struggle, especially when we had people taking the micky out of us when they walked passed.
On Saturday we had a long morning, relaxing outside the tent and trying to figure out how to cook some sausages without burning them. In the afternoon we went to Hurst Castle which is Henry VIII castle, a prison of Charles and a World War 2 theatre. To get to it we either had to get a ferry or walk for a couple miles along the sea front. Stupidly we decided to walk, forgetting how windy it would be being right by the seaside, but when we got there we were glad we visited. Solly loves things like this.
In the evening we went for dinner at The Snake Catcher which was not amazing. I got whitebait to start and before I had even finished they bought out my burger. It seemed like they were in a massive rush, but I did hear that they had been packed all day. On Sunday we went to Christchurch Harbour which I loved!! It was so cute, people were crabbing, paddle boarding and it was filled with lots of boats. Thankfully it was actually sunny so we were able to sit on the rocks and eat fish and chips.
I am getting my disposable cameras printed of today and I can not wait to share with you the craziness of Boomtown, bits of London and some cute pictures from camping. Disposable camera photos are my favourite, they look so nice when they are printed out. Was thinking of carrying one around all the time so I can hang the photos up in my University room!
