a sunday brunch

Conto Lounge

Yesterday morning, Sols woke me up bright and early on a Sunday to go and get a nice breakfast, which if you know me well enough… ended up being brunch. Instead of getting a traditional full english, I treated myself to an Avocado Brunch – this included ciabatta bread, avocado, tomato, chilli and bacon (if you want.)

After this we went straight into Bournemouth town to do a bit of shopping and spend time in the Christmas market. To end the perfect Sunday, we had biscuits, tea and watch Sherlock homes. What a lovely weekend! – Now time to be extremely productive before I break up for Christmas on the 14th.

TIME TO GET READY FOR CHRISTMAS!

Christmas is the happiest time of the year and it is now acceptable to start celebrating! This weekend Solly came to visit, so on the Saturday we went for a dinner at Zizzis and lots of cocktails at Slug & Lettuce.

Today is the first of all our Christmas calendars and this year I am using ‘The Book of Beauty!’ My mum bought it for me as a pre – Christmas present – I will let you know all the amazing products I get after Christmas.

Happy December the 1st!

back to a better day

NEW FOREST CAMPING

I haven’t been doing a lot recently, bar University work and seeing my friends. I have turned extremely lazy since coming back to University due to my timetable being very empty as they want us to do independent learning. After my weekend at home for my friends birthday tomorrow I am going to start a fresh on Monday. It does not make me feel very good about myself when I am wasting my time. I have a lot of stuff to be working on from my personal blog to my assignments and being a blogger and a vlogger.

This weekend I am going home for Glastonbury carnival where I get to see all my friends for my best friend Kelseys birthday. I am so excited!!

These disposables are from when Solly and I went to the New Forest for a long weekend back in the Summer. How much does this weather make you want to stay inside and hibernate? It is dark too early.

I hope everybody has a good weekend. I will check back in on Monday! Where I will be ready to start a fresh ahahah!

beach, burgers & a sinking pedalo

I don’t want this Summer to end

¬†I don’t think I will ever be finished with uploading photographs from Malaga. I took 4 cameras and filled them all but I got some goldies. These are from our last day which we spent in Fuengirola. Our flight was not until the evening and we had to be out of the villa at 10, so we all spent the day on the beach – it was one of my favourite days. Most of our time in Malaga we spent at the villa, which was amazing, but it was so nice to adventure out and spend the day in a different location. We had came to Fuengirola one evening before, so we thought that going back there would be the best idea as then we would know what we are doing.

A couple of us took a pedalo out to sea which was so much fun. I love doing things like this rather than just sitting at the beach.

I do not think I am ready to let go of the Summer. England is freezing cold at the moment, waking up for my 9ams are a struggle!! Jumper weather has come round so quickly, we are now in October – Christmas is coming!!

calories don’t count on the weekend

Barolo Restaurant and Slug & Lettuce

This weekend my boyfriend Solly came to visit me in Bournemouth and see my new house. He arrived pretty late on the Saturday because I woke up early afternoon as I worked late the night before. As soon as he got here we just chilled, drank tea and watch rubbish TV.

In the evening we went to a lovely Italian restaurant on Winton high street, which is only a 5 minute walk from my house. We weren’t able to get a table there until 9:30PM so we went to the Conto Lounge from a drink first. I bought a expresso martini which was gross!! They only added the coffee and vodka, not any syrup or sugar! I was very disappointed, but then I got my pina colada and was happy again. The Italian restaurant was called Barolo and it was so nice. It was extremely lively and packed with people all evening. I had calamari to begin with and then a chorizo, mushroom, tomato pasta as a main, it was lush!! For desert we shared a vanilla cheesecake, my favourite.

Family in Bournemouth | The Stable Restaurant

An evening in Leisture Square | M&M World & Jamie Olivers Diner

Lago Martianez | Puerto De La Cruz

By the time our meal had finished it was around 11:30PM so we just headed home.

On the Sunday we woke up and had a chilled morning. I hadn’t been in to Bournemouth town in the day time since I have been back for second year, so it was nice to spend the afternoon shopping with Solly and sat having an ice cream by the beach. For lunch we went to Slug & Lettuce which I LOVE. I think the place is so funky and serves great food. I had an avocado, halloumi and tomato sandwich with sweet potato fries.

After spending the afternoon in town, we headed back to mine and watch ‘The Other Guys’ before Sol headed home at 7:00PM.

Happy weekend everybody!! Have the best week.

Malaga 2018

On one of our last evenings in Malaga we thought it would be nice to go for a big family meal. We travelled over to Fueungirola for the first time since being there. We had been told it was somewhere to definitely visit as it was full of life and youth. In Malaga centre, we found that the clubs were very small and there was not much to do in the evenings. Where as Fuengirola was the place we had been hoping for the whole time we were there!

Our meal was so lovely. We went to this open restaurant where we were all able to sit outside. This my favourite evening of the whole holiday, everyone was happy and having so much fun.

MALAGA 2018

In Malaga instead of staying in a hotel, we booked out a huge villa for 20 people on Home and Away and it had it all. We couldn’t of asked for more. It had a hot tub, bed outside, our own pool with a slide, a balcony with a BBQ, a bar and so much more. The only thing we didn’t have was any clubs or shops near by. Technically we weren’t in Malaga, we were right on the out skirts and to get into the centre cost 30 euros – that is where all our money went!!

Getting a villa was the best idea because we could do whatever we wanted, we could wake up, make breakfast and just chill. Because we were in the middle of nowhere we had no noise complaints which was perfect.

If you ever need to book a holiday, go through Home and Away. It is a great service!!

I am officially back at University in Bournemouth and trying to enjoy freshers. I am so ready just to start lectures now, waking up in the morning with nothing to do gets extremely boring!!
