my birthday weekend snap shots

Sol and I stayed for 1 night in the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel, on Park Street in Bristol. The hotel was so lovely and extremely up market for myself and Sol.

Opening my presents from Sol and his mum on Monday morning. He got me lots of little bits such as trainers, earrings, joggers and a trip to an Eco Pod in Devon, May bank holiday weekend!

We went for dinner Sunday evening at San Carlo restaurant which is an amazing Italian on Park Street.

Bristol Marriotts amazing pool. We spent Sunday and my birthday morning lounging around in this spa.


A cheese cake that the Miller & Carter brought over to me at breakfast while I was sat all on my own!! Sol and I spent most of my birthday eating at buffets. We had a buffet breakfast and went to Zaza Bazars for lunch, a day full of food.

At the moment I am loving sour dough bread. Cutting down on gluten is doing wonders for my body, especially while I am trying to work out 5 days a week. I am going to Malaga in less that 2 weeks with all my friends and the thought of getting into a bikini surrounded by my tiny friends terrifies me so the only way to make myself feel more confident is to act it.

If I was going to recommend any diet it is a gluten free one and we are lucky enough to live in a day and age where there is a replacement for anything. Chickpea pasta, gluten free bread… so much more!! I am so excited to go back to University and cook my own meals. I have already made a huge pinterest folder full of healthy, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian meals. I am eager to experiment.

This is a really nice and easy breakfast, it is full of good fats, protein and very little gluten. It is also extremely tasty. I LOVE SALMON, I could snack on salmon all day but I need to make the most of it while I am home because I won’t be able to afford it back in Bournemouth.

The ingredients for this breakfast just include; sour dough bread, avocado, pouched eggs and salmon.ย So tasty!!
